Accessibility Statement

Ambernay is committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive and neurological disabilities.

Measures we have taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with logical heading hierarchy (one H1 per page)
  • Descriptive alt text on product and content images
  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and background elements
  • Keyboard-navigable interface
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second
  • Links with descriptive text (not generic labels such as click here)

Known limitations

We are actively working to improve accessibility across all pages. Some areas of the site — including certain third-party embedded content — may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are working to address these progressively.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant national enforcement body for web accessibility in your country. In the EU, this obligation is governed by Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies. As a private sector website, we follow these standards voluntarily and as best practice.
